David A. Marcantel, MD

Dr. Marcantel was born in 1965 in Mamou, Louisiana. He is the son of DJ Marcantel a CPA and Rebecca Marcantel who currently reside in Lafayette, Louisiana. During his childhood he lived in Mamou, San Antonio and the Panama Canal Zone. He is the only boy in a family of 6 kids. He has five sisters, one older and 4 younger. He graduated from Mamou High School in 1983. He was a three year High School Football letterman. He played left guard and outside line backer. Upon graduating from high school he attended Louisiana State University-Eunice. In 1985 he moved to Baton Rouge where he attended and graduated from Louisiana State University in 1987. He was accepted to several medical schools and chose to attend to LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. He chose it for their exceptional comprehensive care clinic and its national reputation. He graduated from medical school in 1991. He attended residency in Louisiana a LSUMC Shreveport. He concluded his residency in 1995 and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where he worked at Bayfront Medical Center.

In 1997 he decided to join Dr. Peter Casella in Kissimmee. That year he became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Upon moving to central Florida he saw a need as thousands of new families and a brand new hospital were underway in the town of Celebration. In 1998 he opened Celebration Obstetrics & Gynecology in Celebration, Florida. His first office was located in downtown Celebration on Market Street. In 2000 he saw a need to be closer to the hospital and opened his office on the 3rd floor of Celebration Health. As the town grew so did the practice and in 2006 he purchased space in the new medical office building adjacent to the hospital. This new space gave the practice over 5000 square feet and a much more comfortable environment for the patients. To The practice has grown to 2 physicians, a nurse practitioner and a certified nurse midwife.

Dr. Marcantel has four sons: Nicholas age 17, William age 15, Jonathan age 14 and Joseph age 2 and he is married to Kelly McCarthy Marcantel.. He is an active member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoys participating in the church, community and coaching and playing sports. His pastimes include watching the LSU Tigers & New Orleans Saints, playing golf, cooking & eating Cajun cuisine. He also enjoys travelling and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Robert F. Lemert, MD

Dr. Lemert was born in 1969 in Laredo, Texas at Laredo Air Force Base. He is the son of Robert C. Lemert , Jr. an Attorney specializing in Labor Law and Anna L. Mitchell. His father currently resides in Atlanta, Ga and his mother resides in Fairhope, AL. He spent the majority of his youth in Atlanta, and Greenville, SC. He is the younger of 2 children; his older brother is in law enforcement in North Carolina. He graduated from James L. Mann High School in 1987. He was active in football, swimming, and weightlifting. He lettered in football and weightlifting. He also obtained the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouting, during this period.

After high school, he attended Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. He played football his first year of college, then converted to Rugby for his remaining college years. He majored in both History and Chemistry, receiving Honors in History for his thesis on Scottish History. He attended the Virginia Programme at Oxford, while in college. He received the Senior Chemistry Award during his final year in college for his research.

After college in 1991, he accepted a position as a medical research chemist at Cornell Medical College in the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. Even though he enjoyed research, he decided to go to medical school, and matriculated at The Medical University of South Carolina in 1992. He graduated from medical school in 1996, and began his residency at The University of South Florida in Tampa. While in residency, he was fortunate to be the only male resident in his class of residents. He won the research award for his resident research during his Chief Resident year. His most important residency achievement was the birth of his oldest daughter, Phoebe.

In 2000, he accepted a job in Pittsburgh, PA with Mercy Ob/Gyn Associates. During his tenure in Pittsburgh, he was active in teaching medical students, and resident physicians. He was the director of medical education for the department. He also helped run the High Risk pregnancy clinic. He also served on several hospital leadership committees. He was a Woman's Health lecturer for the Carnegie Library. While in Pittsburgh, his youngest daughter Olivia was born. After four years in Pittsburgh, he decided to move back to Florida.

In 2004, he accepted a position the Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates in Kissimmee. While in Florida, he has continued his love of teaching by giving lectures to the public and students. He has concentrated on providing compassionate, quality care for patients in the private practice setting. After over five years of practicing in the area and developing a strong professional friendship with Dr. Marcantel, he joined him in practice January 2010. He also looks forward to his involvement in the medical college at the University of Central Florida. He looks forward to championing patient centered care.

Dr. Lemert lives in Celebration and spends most of his free time be an attentive "soccer father." He attends Celebration Community Church. He still practices chemistry in the art of gourmet cooking and home-brewing. He continues to learn Mexican and Gulf Coast culinary arts. He is an avid reader of multiple subjects and a music enthusiast.

Eric Edwards, MD

Dr Eric Edwards attended the University Of Iowa College of Medicine in his home town of Iowa City and graduated in 1991. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology internship at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa and residency at St John's Mercy in St. Louis. His training emphasized high-risk obstetrical care, vaginal surgery and laparoscopic surgery. Moving to private practice in the Central Florida area after completing residency in 1995, he has established himself as a leader in advancing the state of the art in gynecology and obstetrics. His areas of expertise include vaginal restoration and repair, labiaplasty, vaginal and laparoscopic hysterectomy, treatment of pelvic pain and painful intercourse, laparoscopic removal of large tumors, and recently, robotic surgery. He has worked with Lay Midwives as a consultant for women planning home births. He is classically trained for vaginal deliveries, but is also one of the best for cesarean sections in the area. He preceptored medical students from St. Matthews Medical School, Grand Cayman, sharing his clinical knowledge with the next generation of physicians.

Dr Edwards lives with his beautiful wife, Silvia and stepson, and has two beautiful daughters. His special interest is a mobile DJ with Karaoke set up, providing music for parties, events and school dances. He attends St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.

Dr Edwards joined Celebration Obstetrics & Gynecology in May, 2012. Prior to that, he was in solo practice in Oviedo. With a calming voice and understanding eyes, Dr Edwards will listen intently to each patient's problems and works with them to individualize a plan of treatment, emphasizing patient education, and making sure every patient understands their options.

Daniela Pachova, MD

Dr Pachova was born in 1966 in Bulgaria, Europe. In her early life she participated both in sports and pre-medical studies. Eventually she had to choose between a sports career and Medicine. She chose the latter and subsequently, graduated from Varna Medical University. She completed her residency in Obstetric and Gynecology at SBAL Varna in 1999 and continued working as an Ob/Gyn Specialist in Varna, Bulgaria

In 2000 Dr Pachova relocated to the United States. After spending some time traveling around the country, learning about the culture and working on the language, she settled in Las Vegas, NV. There she began the long process of attaining certification at ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates). This process required extensive study and testing and ultimately a four year medical residency.

Doctor Pachova completed her residency in Brooklyn, NY where she encountered an extremely wide variety of patients and circumstances. During this residency she was recognized on several occasions for her outstanding practical skills, medical knowledge and academic performance. She also received very in-depth training in managing high risk pregnancy.

Upon completing her residency, Dr. Pachova returned to Las Vegas where she worked initially for Southwest Medical Associates. She moved from there to a shared private practice with Dr. Richer Lawson at Compassionate care for women. She continued studying and improving her skills and obtained her Board Certification in November 2011.

Dr. Pachova joined Celebration Ob/GYN in March, 2013. She is looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with her patients. Her individual approach and her ability to listen and to explain, makes her patients feel very comfortable and that someone genuinely cares. She is fluent in Bulgarian, Russian and English

In her free time she can be found at the gym or riding her bicycle. She loves outdoors, traveling and photography is her main hobby.

Amy Lowell- C.N.M., M.S.N.

Amy Lowell, M.S.N., C.N.M. is a certified nurse-midwife who completed her training at Columbia University in New York City. She has been in practice for 15 years. She also holds a masters degree in perinatal (high risk obstetrical) nursing from Vanderbilt University as well as a B.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics from The University of Vermont.. Amy has worked in a variety of settings including inner city clinics and an outer island in Hawaii. She practices full scope midwifery which includes antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care of low risk pregnant patients as well as assessment & collaboration of high risk patients. In addition to obstetrics she provides routine well woman exams from adolescence through postmenopause, family planning management and minor gynecological problems. Amy enjoys teaching childbirth classes and providing breastfeeding support to her patients.

Amy lives in Celebration with her husband and 3 children. She strives to provides a personal birth experience to all her patients by listening to their concerns, while providing education, time and support to meet their needs.

Suzette C. Boyette, MSN, ARNP

Suzette C. Boyette, MSN, ARNP is a nurse practitioner with her master's degree in women's health from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida since 1996. In 2005, she continued her training the areas of alternative medicine modalities of qigong, reiki and energy medicine. Suzette is a certified Energy Medicine Practitioner, a Reiki Master/Teacher and a certified qigong instructor. What makes her practices unique is that she integrates her skills from both worlds- traditional medicine and complimentary/alternative medicine to provide the best care possible. She specializes in integrative, holistic care in family planning, well women exams from adolescence to menopause, stress management as well as minor gynecological problems.

Suzette is very active in the community as Adjunct Faculty at UCF's College of Nursing, parenting educator, podcaster, speaker and writer. She enjoys drawing upon these experiences to provide comprehensive care to balance body, mind and spirit with each client.

Born into a military family, Suzette grew up in Florida, California and Philadelphia. So, Suzette is happy to have planted her roots for the past 11 years with her husband and three children in East Orlando.

Griselle Rivera, MSN, ARNP

Griselle Rivera, MSN, ARNP is a nurse practitioner with her certificate degree in women’s health from University of Pennsylvania and her masters degree from University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. She has been in practice for 12 years and is fluent in Spanish. Griselle has worked in a variety of setting such as non-profit clinics, inner city clinics and private practice settings. She has also managed a multi-disciplinary family health center. She practices full scope of OB/GYN services, which include routine prenatal care services, postpartum care and routine gynecological services. The services she provides include family planning, IUD insertion, Nexplanoninsertion , menopause management as well as minor gynecological problems.

Griselle just moved to Florida in late fall of 2012. She has been a native of NJ her whole life and now is easily transitioning into a Floridian. She enjoys yoga, zumba, dancing, cooking and photography.

Julie VanDyke, Office Manager

Julie is a Registered Medical Assistant. She received her education at South College in Savannah, GA. She has been with Celebration Obstetrics and Gynecology for 8 years.

Julie is originally from upstate New York. She currently lives in Celebration with her 3 children. She is Secretary to the Board of Celebration Little League and has recently begun teaching Color Guard with the Celebration High School Marching Band. She is very active in the Celebration community and looks forward to serving your needs here at Celebration Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Michelle Perez, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Michelle Perez R.D.M.S. M.H.Sc. Michelle is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and continued on to obtain a Master of Health Science Degree. She currently holds credentials in obstetrics, gynecology and abdominal sonography. She received a certificate of competence from the Maternal Fetal Medicine Foundation in the following areas Nuchal Transluceny-11-13 scans, Nasal Bone and Cervical Length Assessment. She has been in the field for over 13 years. She is an active member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers since 1998.

Michelle was born and raised in Mid-Michigan. She is married with 3 children and currently resides in Orlando.
